Pricing & Ticket Limits

Accurate ticket pricing and quota boundaries ensure your competition remains profitable and legally compliant.

  • Min tickets (_min_tickets):
    • Minimum threshold of tickets that must be purchased for the competition to validate.
    • If the deadline passes without reaching min tickets, the competition is marked as failed/cancelled or can be automatically extended.
  • Max tickets (_max_tickets):
    • Absolute capacity of tickets available for this competition.
    • Once sold out, ticket sales immediately lock down and trigger sold-out badges.
  • Max tickets per user (_max_tickets_per_user):
    • Prevents single participants or syndicates from monopolizing tickets.
    • Enforced across multiple separate orders for registered user accounts and guest billing emails.
  • Default ticket quantity (_default_ticket_quantity):
    • Pre-selected ticket quantity loaded in the frontend number input and interactive range slider.
    • If left empty, the competition inherits the global setting configured in Competitions > Settings > Display (defaults to 1 or minimum purchase quantity).

  • Price (_lottery_price): Standard unit price per ticket. Set to 0 for free entry draws.
  • Sale Price (_lottery_sale_price): Reduced price per ticket (ideal for Early Bird promotions).
  • Sale Schedule:
    • From Date: Exact timestamp when early bird discount takes effect.
    • To Date: Exact timestamp when early bird pricing returns to standard price.
