Plugin works great, easy to understand and basic bidding / email notifications are awesome. However, the CSS is missing when you use your own theme. I was asked to hire a designer myself to fix it, when I think it should be working and looking good without having to rely on the included themes. Best if the relevant CSS could be in the options page.

Ok, let’s dive a bit further into this then…
Ajax bidding deactivated, chronjobs set to what the plugin suggests. Now without having “any” active auction the plugin starts to execute tons of code in my php which imo is not necesary at all. But then ok, it’s your plugin and you can say watever you want “cheap hosting solution”. Cause in fact with that you just confirmed that your plugin REQUIRES a dedicated hosting plan, not basic, or advanced, or pro, a whole PC for your plugin just to run idle…

It is a really good plugin – adds good auction functionality. What would be great as a future enhancements is to support real auctions (i.e. The “Auction” is the event within which dozens of items are auctioned off)
This would mean supporting Auction Archives – Adding each auction item into an “Auction”
I achieved this with custom taxonomy so it was flexible enough – would be good to include as part of plugin

Kind of half support for this plugin – working between this plugin and my developers we did not achieve much….The support staff did not offer very good solutions. I will say though that the plugin itself offers quite a bit of flexibility and unique code that is not offered anywhere else.

Great Plugin, great support! We had used two other auction systems before this, which were a nightmare in terms of bugs.
These guys have built a great plugin that does the job without bugging out. Whats even better is they provide detailed code snippets to customize timers, bid increments and more, so we didn’t even have to hire a developer this time. Well worth the money and would highly recommend.

I have been using this plug-in for years now and it is very good value.
However please note before you buy and use this, you need a decent hosting provider! In fact it should be running on a decent VPN. I use a 4CPU / 4 GB Ram server and it is just ok with 30 or so clients viewing/participating in the auction.
There is a also a privacy issue where BY DEFAULT, all user-names are displayed in the history. AND as a the winning bidder on the product screen. The history part can be easily coded out, the other part no so easy.
Overall it is good and I do recommend it but you are expected to have good knowledge in the workings of wordpress/woocommerce.

Things for purchasers that may help.
We set it up on a new domain, latest WP & WooCommerce. Status indicates all good.
Things to know.
1-users setup login as they bid BUT while their bid gets recorded their registration as a customer may NOT complete. Bid shows in history but the customer list does not show them – so no contact info & no way to contact them. You can delete the bid – ends up ackward.
2-Odd support experienced. A support ticket posted. Same day response ” I do not understand what exactly is customer list, can you please send me screenshot for this?” (… the tab below Auction Activity says Customers) Next day the support ticket-“Hi, I’m closing this ticket (due to inactivity)” We still responded with sent screen shots. All their responses were about how their suport sytem worked. Wasted more time than editing thier coding would take Two days later thier next response…”client registration process is something you need to implement to match your needs… this is part of customer relations and you need to see how you will implement those processes”
3-At the end of the auction there is no report showing who the winners were… only one report of all Auction Activity that shows hundreds of entries among which were the winning bids.
Bottom line: 1) It needs daily attention, by a human, to confirm you have the bidders contact information if they win or to delete false bids.The plugin emaied the latest bids for the 50 items involved. We ended up printing them to put at the top of the stack for each. 2) If their support fixates to how to use their support ticket system it means your on your own… likely nothing they can do about it. Remember it only cost $29 and you could have spent a lot more for other products that are harder to use, learn and train users about.

WSA is an easy plugin to configure for inexperienced users, and can be extended in its capabilities with free code shared on pastebin (experienced users)
Its documentation is extensive and detailed, and is updated with each new version.
But, what really surprised me is their technical support. When you pay for licenses for digital products, you expect to have solutions from your programmers when problems appear, or simply when extensions are needed. And wpgenie does. Provide support with real solutions.
In the last 8 months I have sent about 20 tickets, ALL solved. Not all of them were problems, others were doubts, but they took the time to tell us how to solve them.
Among those problems we had one of incompatibility with another known plugin, they looked for solutions and over a few days we finally have the problem resolved. Support is worth gold in the computer world.

Y wpgenie lo hace. Brinda un soporte con soluciones reales.
En los últimos 8 meses he enviado unos 20 tickets, TODOS solucionados. No todos fueron problemas, otros fueron dudas, pero se tomaron el tiempo de indicarnos como resolverlas.
Entre esos problemas tuvimos uno de incompatibilidad con otro complemento conocido, buscaron soluciones y a lo largo de algunos días finalmente tenemos resuelto el problema. Se Soporte que vale oro en el mundo informático.

I have no idea if this is a good plugin or not because I had a fatal error upon installation. I purchased it as I was in a big hurry to add this function for a client. I contacted support and told them of my predicament. I can’t fault them for not being able to answer within the few hours that I had available. However, their response that they don’t give refunds on issues they have not been given time to fix is a poor policy. People purchase plugins like this because they don’t have the time or funds to build something from scratch. I’m quite disappointed in the response and won’t be purchasing anything else from this company.
