New Plugin: Mysteryx – Mystery Boxes for WooCommerce

Bring loot box excitement to your WooCommerce store with randomized prize bundles and animated prize reveals

We just launched Mysteryx – Mystery Boxes for WooCommerce, a new plugin that brings the excitement of loot boxes to your e-commerce site.

This mystery box addon lets store owners sell randomized prize bundles directly through their WooCommerce store,  complete with a game-style spinner animation for the prize reveal.

Mysteryx adds a custom “Mystery Box” product type to WooCommerce. Customers purchase a box and then discover their prize through an animated reveal inspired by popular loot box mechanics from video games. Store owners can define prize pools, control stock for each item, and choose how rewards are claimed (either via a popup or a defined claim page).

The plugin also enhances the customer experience with a new Boxes section inside the My Account area, where users can track purchases and winnings. Both customers and store admins receive email notifications when rewards are claimed.

PRO version

PRO version features include: item weight settings to control how often each prize can be won, opening animations, custom sound effects (rolling, opening, rare, legendary), and celebratory visuals (confetti animation on win). PRO users also receive access to a dedicated support system.
